Bask in Endless Sunshine on Marbella's Top Golf Courses

With over 300 days of sunshine per year, the seaside resort town of Marbella on Spain's Costa del Sol offers an idyllic climate for golfers. Lush green fairways set against the backdrop of the Sierra Blanca mountains provide stunning scenery and year-round mild temperatures make Marbella a golfer's paradise.

In addition to world-class golf, Marbella is enticed with a glamorous yachting marina, luxury shopping, Michelin-star dining and a historic old town. It's no wonder celebrities and athletes like Antonio Banderas, Hugh Grant and Cristiano Ronaldo have homes here. For those seeking an enviable lifestyle framed by golf, beaches and relaxation, Marbella delivers.

Marbella Club Golf Resort

Hailed as one of the best courses in Spain, this 18-hole course was designed by the legendary Dave Thomas. With limited play and only 30 minutes between tee times, golfers can take in the magnificent views of Gibraltar, Africa and the Mediterranean unrushed. The opening hole provides a taste of the challenge to come with its uphill approach to a small green. Trademark touchpoints include the par-3 14th hole requiring a precise tee shot over a lake. The course length is 6,247 meters catering to a range of skill levels.

Los Naranjos Golf Club

Located in the heart of Marbella’s golf valley within the elite area of Nueva Andalucía, this course lives up to its billing as the “ultimate golfing destination.” Designed by renowned architect Robert Trent Jones Sr., the 18-hole, par-72 layout totals 6,004 meters and incorporates strategic bunkers and water features. Most holes afford spectacular vistas of La Concha Mountain, the Mediterranean Sea and Africa's distant shore. Los Naranjos is conveniently situated near restaurants, hotels and luxury residential communities.

Cabopino Golf Marbella

Situated just a couple kilometres from the scenic Cabopino Port and Marbella, this 18-hole, par-72 course was designed by the legendary Seve Ballesteros. Its fairways are lined with pines, palms and colourful flowers with views of the sea from several holes. Natural areas come into play and strategically placed bunkers and water hazards demand precision. At 5,813 meters, the lay of the land caters to all handicaps. The course has played host to various championships like the Spanish Ladies Open.

For the ultimate golf getaway under the Spanish sun, Marbella delivers world-class courses, amenities, weather and ambience.
